PET OF THE MONTH LADY BIRD

Springtime is a great time to add a new member to the family!

ABOUT LADY BIRD

Lady Bird has been at Houston SPCA for longer than expected. Lady Bird is a loving, active one-year-old lab mix looking for her forever home. She weighs 46 pounds and has learned human words like “sit,” “shake,” “lay down,” and “wait at the door.” Lady Bird loves walking, running, hiking, and living an active lifestyle. Lady Bird enjoys playing with other dogs, especially high-energy dogs. She only needs to be introduced before so that they can become friends. Lady Bird is super excitable and does not always understand how big she is, jumping on things and people. She has been learning not to jump on things and people, but she will need a loving family to guide her on how to behave properly. 

If interested, you can visit Lady Bird and hang out together in the Houston SPCA play yard. Adoption costs $95 and includes:

• A microchip.
• Spay surgery.
• Up-to-date vaccinations.
• A sample bag of Hill’s pet nutrition.
• A free post-exam from ANY VCA animal hospital.
